It is easier to communicate today than it was a centry ago. We have so many different ways to communicate in the present day. We can use telephones, cell phones, email, text messages, online instant messengers, and many other sources of communication. One hundred years ago, the only way of communicating with others was by mailing a letter. The telephone was just being invented at that time. It is so much easier to communicate in today's day and age than it was a centry ago.
